Todd Reubold became director of communications and public affairs for the Institute on the Environment in 2007. He transitioned into this role after serving three years as associate director with the Initiative for Renewable Energy and the Environment. His areas of expertise include communications, marketing and public relations, with an emphasis on energy policy/environmental issues and the public’s perception thereof.

In addition to his official title, Reubold wears the hats of creative director, marketing director, brand manager, traffic coordinator and team builder at large. He has played a central role in developing and implementing the IonE’s communications plan—from expanding the scope of events and multimedia efforts to shaping Momentum magazine and national advertising campaigns.

Reubold brings a solid range of professional experience from business, government and nonprofit sectors to the IonE, along with a master’s degree in science, technology and environmental policy from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing tennis, performing with his band and spending time with his two dogs.

To invite Reubold to speak at your event, please e-mail him directly.
