Emily Dombeck is a junior scientist with the Global Landscapes Initiative, where her research focuses on the interwoven issues of pollinators, nutrition, and food security.

She received her B.S. in ecology, evolution and behavior from the University of Minnesota. In addition to her research at GLI, she has a keen interest in urban land use and sustainability.

Emily’s free time is spent trying to improve her photography skills, watching terrible TV, and reattempting failed home improvement projects. If she’s not in the office or at Home Depot, you can usually find her exploring the city with her husband and their son — he’s a junior-junior scientist.
