Have you ever seen something in your community that bothers you, but you weren’t sure what to do about it? Well, Boreas Student Advisory Team member, Michelle Dobbratz, has won an Operational Excellence competition at the U to improve composting throughout the University.

We also want to congratulate a Boreas and Acara alumna on her new position –  Georgia Rubenstein (MURP ’13) is now the senior sustainability advisor at Forum for the Futurebased in their Brooklyn, NY office. Forum for the Future is a non-profit organization that works with businesses, governments, and other organizations to solve sustainability challenges all over the world.
