Admin Associate and Pre-Award Specialist
The Institute on the Environment is seeking an experienced individual to join our administrative team. A large portion of this job will be assisting staff researchers and scientists with proposal submission (pre-award), so a working knowledge of University finance and sponsored projects policies and guidelines is a preferred qualification.
Duties will include creating budgets, proposal submission via EGMS, grants.gov, Fastlane and other agency applications, research project management (administrative and financial), and processing expense reports and requisitions.

Digital Content & IT Manager
The Institute on the Environment is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of digital content & IT manager. The ideal candidate for this role will be well-rounded and creative, as they will be asked to provide support for a number of different outlets. This employee is responsible for maintaining the technology side of IonE’s web properties, so it is imperative for the employee to be a fast learner who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively. This position requires working together with other employees, so the candidate should be able to communicate effectively.
Principal duties include managing website technology and updates, purchasing new domains and web hosting packages, maintaining desktop and laptop environments, serving as liaison for University-wide IT, event filming and online video creation, live streaming IonE speaker series and related events, and managing IonE’s contact database.

Post-Doctoral Associate in Economics & Conservation
The Institute on the Environment seeks a postdoctoral scholar at the interface of economics, conservation, and natural resource management, to enable collaborative research between IonE and The Nature Conservancy. The fellow will support a series of workshops composed of TNC personnel and experts from academia, government and the private sector.
The postdoc will be supervised by Jessica Hellmann and will closely collaborate with economics faculty in the Institute on the Environment. They will also regularly interact with regional and global TNC staff, including acting chief scientist Heather Tallis, who leads the collaboration.
