About the Speaker:

Dr. Theresa Ong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at Dartmouth College. She is an agroecologist who focuses on understanding how complex interactions between the environment, organisms and people ultimately influence food production and ecosystem stability. Her work focuses on how biocomplexity in terms of space, time and species diversity, influences the resilience of agricultural systems to both ecological and political perturbations.

About the Series:

The seminar series will feature four practitioners and academics who are leading examples of integrating justice into research, policy, education, and building community.

The series is funded through the Natural Resource Association of Graduate Students, the Natural Resource Science and Management program, and the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Long Term Ecological Research Project. Thank you for the support and encouragement. Thank you to the Forest Resources Department for allowing us to host this in conjunction with your regular seminar series.
