At the Campus Club on Jan. 26, learn from Mike Dockry, a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and professor at the U of M, about the positive and negative impacts wild rice research at the University of Minnesota has had on tribal communities and ecosystems.

His “A Feast of Words” presentation uses historical documents from the University Archives. Dockry will also highlight tribal voices and describe a future where collaborative research supports tribal food sovereignty and healthy ecological and human communities.
