CBS Celebrates Women in STEM – Finding Patterns: Quilts inspired by Cedar Creek history and research

FreeThe University of Minnesota’s College of Biological Sciences (CBS) celebrates International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11 with a series of events, starting February 5.
Join expert quilter Cheri Stockinger to learn about her quilt series inspired by Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve. Her work includes a quilt that celebrates Eleanor Lindeman, the wife of Raymond Lindeman whose discovery about how energy flows through aquatic ecosystems set the state for modern ecology. She was instrumental in the research.
