Challenge of Science Leadership Workshop

This training will cover strategic planning and techniques for building more effective research and outreach programs. It is targeted to professional scientists and other environmental scholars who seek to increase their engagement and strategic effectiveness of their work. A portion of the participants will be the current cohort of IonE Associates.

The workshop will be lead by Barefoot Thinking Company, a UK-based group best known in the U.S. for trainings they have delivered to the Leopold Leadership Program. This is the first time that Barefoot is delivering this workshop in the U.S. to an academic audience, outside of the Leopold Program.

The Institute on the Environment is offering a reduced rate to University of Minnesota faculty, research and professional staff. Registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis for $300 per seat. Typically this workshop costs $1000/person, but IonE has prepaid for a limited number of seats exclusively for our affiliates and colleagues. Participants must be able to attend all three days of the workshop.
