Community Engaged Scholarship: Incorporating Participatory Approaches [Session One]

This is the first of a two-part workshop series will introduce graduate, professional students, and faculty to Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), participatory approaches to professional work more broadly, and ways these approaches can inform your research and future work.

In this interactive workshop, you will be introduced to CBPR as a model participatory approach, learn about the principles of participatory approaches, explore how to think about stakeholder engagement, and engage in activities that apply these ideas to your current research or work.

Session 2: Engaging with Participatory Approaches – Friday, Feb 4th 10:30 am – 12 pm | **Tentatively In Person**

About Session 2: After introducing the fundamental principles of community-engaged work, you will engage with facilitators and peers to reflect and discuss your plans, thoughts, and questions about how to incorporate a participatory approach into your graduate studies or future work experiences or your faculty activities.
