Design For Impact

March 30, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us on March 30th, 1pm-6pm in Wilson Library for our “Design for Impact” workshop. Learn from experienced engineer and design thinker Rob Gradoville about how to take the first steps in tackling complex problems, leverage your skill sets, and effectively bring design thinking to a team setting. Translate ideas into action by learning to build bridges with community partners to create solutions with real impact. RSVP here, space is limited.

The Acara Student Leadership Board, a group of motivated undergraduate and graduate students that connects students from any discipline who want to be part of solving real-world challenges, is thrilled to bring the expertise of IDEO to motivated students at the University of Minnesota. IDEO is a global leader in human centered design. Through their community of entrepreneurs, engineers, teachers, researchers, and more, IDEO works on complex problems and systemic challenges in areas like education, food, mobility, and aging.
