Join us for a discussion with F. Stuart Chapin III (Terry) on Earth Stewardship – Ecology and Ethics to link science with sustainability action.

Terry Chapin is a world renowned ecosystem ecologist who has worked a great deal on the sustainability and resilience of ecosystems and human communities on a changing planet. His research in earth stewardship explores ways that society can proactively shape changes toward a more sustainable future through actions that enhance ecosystem resilience and human well-being. He has also worked extensively with indigenous communities and faith communities fostering dialogue with scientists and collective action towards environmental justice.
Join us for a facilitated discussion around the role that scientists can play in creating action for a sustainable world. We are especially interested in inviting and engaging with different disciplinary viewpoints and ways of knowing the world.
