Title: Writing workshop for early career scientists

Time and date: Monday, May 15 & Tuesday, May 16 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This two-day writing retreat and workshop is focused on the efficient drafting of scientific manuscripts for publication. Early career scientists, including late stage PhD students, staff, post-docs, and young faculty working on publications in the natural sciences, are all welcome to attend.

The objective of the workshop is to make rapid progress on a manuscript that will be submitted for publication. This
will be achieved by brief, guided-writing exercises designed to break writer’s block, followed by uninterrupted blocks of writing time and iterative peer feedback. Please come with a manuscript in outline or early draft phase. Coffee and snacks will be provided. Space is limited.
