Land as Pedagogy: Comparative Approaches to Stewardship of our Environment
About the Event:
A relationship to land is critical for children if we are to live sustainably and solve problems that threaten the survival of our planet. In this workshop, we will look at efforts to both maintain and revive a connection with the land. We will travel to Cameroon to explore agricultural education at a farm school. We will also hear about a local program in Dorchester which seeks to help children re-establish a relationship to the land by providing access to greenspace and gardens
