We are excited to welcome the entire UMN community to attend the panel discussion on Friday, April 16, 2:30 – 3:40 pm at this year’s virtual Sustainability & Energy Expo. Tune in to hear the following esteemed panelists discuss land, food, energy, and water justice:

• Dr. Waziyatawiŋ is a Dakota professor, author, and activist. Waziyatawiŋ is the executive director of Makoce Ikikcupi (Land Recovery).
• Diane Wilson is a writer, speaker, and author. Wilson is the executive director of the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance.
• Dr. Marie Schaefer is a postdoctoral research associate for the Department of Community Sustainability, Michigan State University.
• Lea Foushee is an activist and Water Protector. Foushee is the Environmental Justice Director for the North American Water Office.
