I am the Lead Software Architect for the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University where I lead and often execute software development projects that support ecosystem service assessment and planning. Years ago I was an assistant professor of computer science at St. Lawrence University and I earned my Ph.D. in computer science from The Ohio State University. My research interests include developing computational software for natural science applications, high performance computing applications, numerical simulation and cloud computing.
