Hobbie Named to National Academy

Congratulations to IonE resident fellow Sarah Hobbie, who was elected to the National Academy of Sciences this week in recognition of her exceptional original contributions to scientific research. Hobbie directs an IonE-sponsored project exploring how vegetation can help boost water quality in cities.

IonE's Sustainability Education program is helping empower the next generation of sustainability leaders by providing strategic support to the University of Minnesota's sustainability minor, sustainability-related graduate programs, and faculty sustainability initiatives.
