Interested in working or interning in a sustainability-related field? The University of Minnesota’s Career & Internship Services for the College of Continuing Education, College of Design, and College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences hosts an Environmental Internship & Career Fair the first week of February on the St. Paul campus.

Idealist – Idealist offers people and organizations an opportunity to exchange resources and ideas, locate opportunities and supporters, and help build a world where all people can lead free and dignified lives.

Minnesota Council of Nonprofits – MCN is a statewide association of more than 2,000 nonprofit organizations. Through its website, publications, workshops, events, programs and advocacy, MCN informs, promotes, connects and strengthens individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector.

Minnesota Environmental Partnership – The Minnesota Environmental Partnership is a coalition of more than 80 environmental and conservation organizations working together to protect and preserve Minnesota’s environment.

Minnesota Green Jobs – The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the state’s principal economic development agency, lists jobs from across the state.

Minnesota Works – MinnesotaWorks helps employers and job seekers can find each other.

NextStep – NextStep provides information, access to resources, opportunities for networking, and inspiration on the topic of sustainable communities. Users can post as well as access information.

SEEK – SEEK is Minnesota’s home of environmental education resources.

State of Minnesota Jobs – This is the official site for employment with state government. Also check out local government websites, such cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) or counties (Hennepin, Ramsey, etc.).

University of Minnesota Employment – The University of Minnesota’s employment site provides the capability to search and apply for work-study, student, and other positions as well as manage your application for future opportunities.
