About Momentum
Magazine
Published three times a year by the Institute on the Environment, Momentum magazine is a print, Web and multimedia forum for innovative thinking and doing. Drawing on expertise at the University of Minnesota and beyond, we explore issues of regional importance and global impact. We provide a place for environmental leaders to share ideas and insights with each other and the world. And we work to find common ground by linking scientific concerns with social and economic needs.
Momentum aims to transcend business as usual, looking at Earth’s most pressing challenges in entirely new ways. We’re moving the conversation forward—from global problems to game-changing solutions.
Event Series
The Momentum event series brings leading environmental visionaries to the Twin Cities to deliver thought-provoking presentations on topics of science and technology, arts and media, and social entrepreneurship as they relate to the environment in the 21st century.
