Momentum magazine

Fall 2008 Momentum Magazine cover imageIn September 2008, the Institute on the Environment is launching a magazine titled Momentum. Published three times a year, the new magazine will use University of Minnesota expertise as a springboard to addressing the world’s most pressing environmental issues. “Today’s environmental problems can’t be solved with business-as-usual thinking,” said Jonathan Foley, director of the Institute on the Environment. “Our goal with the magazine is to create an ongoing forum for innovative thinking.”

Statewide Conservation and Preservation Plan coverThe Statewide Conservation and Preservation Plan, launched by the Institute on the Environment and the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources, offers comprehensive assessments and recommendations pertaining to the future of Minnesota. The final recommendations work together to provide multiple, overlapping benefits for the state’s economy, environment and natural resources in a cost-effective way.
