Undergraduate Clean Energy Program Assistant
knett026@umn.edu
Kobe Knettel (He/Him) is a second-year student studying Environmental Policy with a minor in Sociology. His interest in environmental justice advocacy stemmed from his concerns about a changing climate and how it will affect the most vulnerable communities. Throughout his time here at the University of Minnesota, Kobe has been able to further his understanding of the many intrinsic problems that surround a transition to clean energy and an overall more sustainable future. He hopes that his work with the Institute on the Environment will create a meaningful and lasting impact on campus. Furthermore, he hopes his work with the Clean Energy Leaders cohort will not only connect students with important partners but conversely he is able to learn from the students along the way.
