John Patterson

John Patterson (He/Him/His) is a fourth year student studying Theatre Arts as well as Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance with a minor in African American and African Studies. As the Program Assistant for Experiential Education and Graduate Programs, he is incredibly excited to assist in the development of the social entrepreneurship of students on campus. John has spent much of his time at the University of Minnesota working in the office of Orientation and Transition Experiences where he has developed a fervor for helping incoming students feel like they belong and leading them on the path to create change. John is also the president of the Gold Standard Show Choir on campus, labels himself as a true crime fanatic, and is looking forward to continuing his education through law school to eventually become a criminal defense attorney.
