Katherine Muller

Katherine Muller is a fourth year graduate student in Plant Biological Sciences. She is interested in questions of cooperation and conflict in biology, specifically, between plants and symbiotic bacteria. She received her BA from Oberlin College with a double major in biology and music, with an emphasis in baroque flute, then completed her MS in plant biology at joint program between Northwestern University and the Chicago Botanic Garden. When not thinking about plants and bacteria, she enjoys playing music, hiking, and petting other peoples’ dogs.
