Luke is a second-year student in the Carlson School of Management studying international business and finance with a minor in sustainability studies. In his studies, he is most interested in how all three disciplines intersect in the corporate world. He became interested in this through the opportunities he has encountered at the University of Minnesota. At Braham Area High School, Minnesota, he became an election judge through his leadership in student council and has worked three elections. He is also an active member of Net Impact, a business student organization focused on social and environmental justice. Ever since buying his first solar panel in high school, he has wanted to work in renewable energy. This caused him to participate in the 2022 IonE Clean Energy Leader program. He is excited to be an International Energy Partnerships Project assistant and work to make real change by uniting people for clean energy. In his free time, Luke enjoys snowboarding, watching RuPaul’s Drag Race, and eating sushi.
