Marie Donahue is a project coordinator and researcher for the Natural Capital Project team based at the University of Minnesota, providing project management and communications support and assisting with a variety of research and engagement activities. She is interested in the intersection of ecosystem services science, policy and practice, particularly in the context of sustainable, livable cities and regional, multi-stakeholder landscape planning initiatives. Prior to joining NatCap, Marie earned her M.S. in natural resources and environment at the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment with a focus on environmental policy and planning, and she received a B.A. in economics and environmental studies from the University of Chicago. In her spare time, Marie enjoys baking sourdough bread, gardening, and exploring parks and trails across the Twin Cities.
