Moriah is a third year undergraduate pursuing a degree in food systems with minors in nutrition and sustainable agriculture. She is looking to combine her background in nutrition with sustainable growing practices to inform community members in a public health setting. She envisions a food system that builds communities and local economies through teaching people how to cook and grow nutritious foods. Moriah is a member of the Big 10 Leadership Team with Real Food Challenge, a team working towards increasing the amount of local, fair, sustainable and humane food on campus. Her favorite pastimes include running and spending time in the kitchen.
