Olya is 13 years old and lives in Grand Marais, MN. Five years ago she started the Nordic Nature Group (NNG) to help nature. The NNG partnered with iMatter and the City of Grand Marais to pass a Youth Climate Inheritance Resolution. This Resolution commits the City to reach Net Zero emissions by 2040. She is continuing to work with City to create a Climate Action Plan, and working to educate about and reduce plastic pollution.
