Padee is a transfer student at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Neuroscience and Anthropology. She joined the Acara team because she was determined to help Acara grow due to the support and engagement Acara provided in GCC 5003: Seeking Solutions to Global Health Issues and during her internship in Uganda with Isis-WICCE (Women’s International Cross-Cultural Exchange). Padee is interested in research dealing with the intersection of psychology, anthropology, and neuroscience to better understand human universals and individual differences. She hopes to complete an MPH in Public Policy to promote the use of research and interventions through the medium of policy to decrease the amount of disparities in underserved communities. On the side, she enjoys listening to a variety of music and eating her fill of sweets.
