Patrick Roisen is currently pursuing a Masters of Development Practice degree with the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Before arriving at the University of Minnesota, Patrick served over three years in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer. There he worked as the national program coordinator and later as the development officer for an international nongovernmental organization called Pathways. He graduated from St. Olaf College, majoring in political science and history. Patrick is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but spent a majority of his upbringing living internationally. His professional interests include exploring strategies to improve access to education in developing countries and promoting gender equality.
