2020 John Borchert Lecture: Dr. Carl Steinitz

Celebrate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day at the 2020 UMN Spatial Forum on November 18. The Spatial Forum is a yearly event highlighting spatial research, teaching, and outreach.

This year, Dr. Carl Steinitz will give the Borchert Lecture. Dr. Steinitz is the Alexander and Victoria Wiley Professor of Landscape Architecture and Planning Emeritus at Harvard Graduate School of Design, and Honorary Professor at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London. This lecture series honors the late John Borchert, UMN Regents Professor in Geography & member of the National Academy of Sciences.
