Climate Week Coffee Chat: Water Resources & Climate Change with Bonnie Keeler
October 26 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 amFree
Join us for the second of 5 Coffee Chats throughout Climate Week, presented by the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in partnership with the Institute on the Environment, as part of the Swain Climate Policy Series.
Bonnie Keeler, Associate Professor at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, co-Director of the Center for Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy, and IonE Fellow, will lead this informal conversation about water resources and climate change:
How will a changing climate threaten our water resources? Join a discussion about how increased heat and changes in precipitation are affecting the quality of our lakes, rivers, and streams and the most pressing climate and water interactions over the coming decades.
All members of the University community are invited to join a discussion to explore how we can allocate resources most effectively and equitably to protect water resources for future generations in ways that also mitigate the worst impacts of climate change.
