About the Event:

The UMD Institute on the Environment and Program in Writing Studies are co-hosting an event on November 9, 2023 from 5:30-7pm at the Kathryn A. Martin Library Rotunda. Local authors Katya Gordon and Shawna Weaver will facilitate a conversion about climate change, climate grief and climate action. The event is free and open to the public, with music by the North Shore Fiddlers and refreshments from UMD Catering.

The Schedule:

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. : Refreshments from UMD catering and music from North Shore Fiddlers and Friends

6:30 – 7:00pm : Presentation with Q & A
