EcoDistricts Research Forum

The EcoDistricts Summit will be held in Minneapolis on October 17 and 18. The EcoDistricts Protocol is designed to assist communities in ensuring Equity, Resilience, and Climate Protection at the district scale. As part of the EcoDistricts Summit, the University of Minnesota is organizing an EcoDistricts Research Forum on October 16 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with a morning reception beginning at 8:00 a.m. The EcoDistricts Research Forum gathers researchers, policymakers and practitioners to engage in a facilitated discussion and interchange of ideas designed to help shape the evolving research on sustainable district-scale development.

The Research Forum will include:
—Overview of University Research Applied to EcoDistrict Issues
—A Deeper Dive into EcoDistrict Priorities (with Regional Examples)
—Ideas for EcoDistrict Research and Application in the Future
