Engaged Scholar Critical Community Engagement Roundtable – Healing Place Collaborative

October 8, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Fall 2019 Theme: Unsettling Ourselves

Healing Place Collaborative—2 to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8 St. Paul Campus, lawn outside Coffey Hall, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities

The many issues that our community faces are too often approached in isolation from one another. People working diligently on solutions often operate with distinct agendas, budgets, and disciplines. Similarly, competing environmental, commercial, and cultural interests limit their impact on the health of the land. Both the land and the society it has engendered need healing.

Join members of Healing Place Collaborative for a highly experiential session intended to open up new ways of thinking about and relating to the land. This session will meet in the lawn space across Eckles Ave. from Coffey Hall. Please consult the Engaged Scholar Critical Community Engagement Roundtable web page for location updates.

This session was made possible by a mini-grant from the Institute on the Environment.

This series is cosponsored by Department of American Indian Studies and Office of Public Engagement.
