Ashley Peters is the Communications Manager for DAWN and Knowledge Initiatives. She brings more than fifteen years of professional experience in communications, marketing, and engagement in environmental conservation. Ashley is a governor-appointed citizen member with the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council/Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Fund and she has a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She also serves on several nonprofit boards and conservation committees, and regularly advocates for more inclusive approaches to getting people outdoors.
