Dalila Hussein

Dalila (she/her) works on supporting DAWN market research initiatives. Dalila is a Masters’ of Development Practice student at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She came from Egypt to pursue her degree in development practice with a focus on economic development and impact evaluation. Prior to coming to Minnesota, Dalila earned her Bachelor degree in Statistics and Economics from Cairo University in Egypt. She has extensive experience working in the market research sector in the MENA region. In addition, she worked as a monitoring and evaluation researcher, a livelihoods program coordinator, and a startup trainer and mentor. Besides her work, Dalila loves to be outdoors, biking, hiking, or just going on walks. She takes pride in her community and enjoys bringing people together through community building initiatives and activities.
