Eden (JeeYoung) is a second-year student from Korea studying Economics. She was born and raised in Seoul but also lived in France, NYC, and North Carolina. Her interest in storytelling started at the beginning of high school when she went on a backpacking trip to Yosemite. The film photographs she took of the wilderness inspired her to pursue social justice storytelling through various media; She founded Art 4 Change in high school, where she collaborated with other artists to produce artworks on global issues, including climate change. She is now using her content creation skills and interest in sustainability&social justice by being part of NetImpact, A Helping Hand for the Homeless, and IonE! She is currently working with Dr.Kilgore to conduct research on carbon offset programs for forest owners. She hopes to become an environmental economist in the future. In her free time, she enjoys watching soccer, working out, traveling, vlogging, reading, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
