Our Fields of Practice
Three directors lead IonE’s research, education and public interest communications programs – each an active practitioner in their respective field, working at the intersection of ideas and impact.
Advisory Leadership
IonE works with advisors inside and outside the University to strengthen research, partnerships and strategic direction.
Faculty Leadership Council
The Faculty Leadership Council is made up of University of Minnesota faculty members who represent our affiliate body and advise IonE’s leadership team. The council provides faculty perspectives and helps ensure IonE’s goals and decisions reflect the priorities and expertise of its faculty community.
External Advisory Board
The IonE External Advisory Board brings together leaders from the private, public and nonprofit sectors, along with external leaders in higher education, forming a body that reflects our network of collaborators. These leaders provide strategic guidance and diverse perspectives that help shape our work.
