Natural Capital
Recognizing the full value of healthy ecosystems
How do we make decisions that account for everything nature contributes?
Forests filter water, wetlands buffer floods, and pollinators sustain harvests, providing economic value – while also shaping culture, identity and wellbeing in ways that resist easy measurement. Most economic and policy decisions still capture and quantify only a fraction of nature’s benefits. IonE experts develop the methods, metrics, and frameworks that bring the full picture into view – so that what nature provides, in all dimensions, can be more fully accounted for and understood.
