Jess Del Fiacco has more than a decade of experience communicating about environmental and social issues in nonprofit, academic and government settings. She specializes in translating complex ideas into engaging and accessible content. As communications manager for the Midwest Climate Adaptation Science Center, a regional center hosted by the Institute on the Environment, Del Fiacco leads strategies to get information into the hands of key audiences. Her work includes storytelling, website management, email marketing and event support. Del Fiacco grew up among jack pine and blueberries in the Wisconsin Northwoods and now lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She received her bachelor’s degree in geography from Macalester College and her master’s degree in strategic communication from the University of Minnesota.
