Lora Hlavsa
Background & Expertise
Lora Hlavsa (she/her) is the visual communications designer at the Institute on the Environment. Her professional experience includes a range of creative roles within advertising, marketing and non-profits. In addition to her work in branding and design for mission-driven organizations, she is also an artist and illustrator whose work has been featured in galleries and publications locally and abroad. She is passionate about using art and visual storytelling to help further the reach of values-based initiatives and research. Hlavsa has a BA in geography and urban studies with a minor in studio art from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
When she’s not at IonE, you can find Hlavsa painting in her home studio, checking out local live music or enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
