Martha Wondimu

Martha Wondimu is a junior at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities studying environmental sciences, policy & management with a focus on policy and law. She minors in creative writing and sustainability studies. Wondimu works as a clean energy program assistant at the Institute on the Environment, where she supports the Clean Energy Leaders program and advances student engagement in sustainability initiatives. As a first-generation college student, she is passionate about environmental justice and equitable, community-centered climate policy. She hopes to build a career at the intersection of policy, storytelling and advocacy to create lasting environmental change.
