Veda Voegele

Background & Expertise

Veda Voegele is an undergraduate student working in administrative support for the Knowledge Initiatives team at the Institute on the Environment. Since joining IonE in early fall of 2025, she has supported day-to-day operations, hiring management and travel logistics for KI staff and associates. Voegele values the organized, driven and fun workplace at IonE and the kind, like-minded people she collaborates with. She's interested in resource management, environmental justice and initiatives that serve both people and the planet by combining science and community. Outside of the office, Voegele can often be found trying matcha and gluten-free bakeries across Minneapolis, hiking, reading, watching the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Bears and spending time with her friends and sisters. Veda is also pursuing a BS in environmental science, policy, and management, as well as a BA in political science at the University of Minnesota, with the goal of becoming an attorney in the future. She is so excited to continue growing within KI and contributing to IonE’s broader mission of protecting this beautiful planet.
