COP Context:
The COP – the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – meet annually to strategize, report on, and negotiate climate goals. The 30th conference – COP30 – was hosted in Belém, Brazil, November 10-21, 2025.
Each year, the University of Minnesota (UMN) invites faculty, staff, and graduate or professional students from any campus or unit to apply for a unique opportunity to attend COP.
