Background & Expertise
Deepti Paul is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute on the Environment. Her research focuses on developing data-driven and systems-based approaches to support sustainable and equitable transitions across energy, transportation, and food systems. At IonE, she contributes to projects on sustainable aviation fuels, clean energy and decarbonization pathways, and sustainable food systems through the FoodS³ project.
Prior to joining IonE, Deepti completed her MS and PhD at Arizona State University, where her research focused on energy systems modeling, transportation electrification, and their broader environmental and societal impacts. Her interdisciplinary background spans computer science, energy, transportation, and sustainability, with an emphasis on systems modeling, spatial analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
