Background & Expertise
Kun Zhang is an Assistant Professor and urban hydrologist interested in investigating how urbanisation, climate change, and ageing infrastructure affect watershed hydrology and water quality. His work synthesises data and models to explain urban hydrological processes and to design sustainable stormwater management practices for flood mitigation and water quality improvement, using physically based hydrological modelling, data-driven analytics, and hydrological sensing.
