Michael Winikoff

Background & Expertise

Michael Winikoff is a graphic designer whose clients have included the Aspen Institute, the Soros Foundation’s Open Society Institute, the Arts for Justice Initiative, and the Treatment Action Group. From 2015–23, Winikoff ran the University of Minnesota Science Communications Lab, a collaborative, interdisciplinary internship program for writers, scientists, artists and designers. He was a guest instructor at Alfred University School of Art and Design, where he taught Freshman Foundation Studio. He is currently an education fellow at the University of Minnesota Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies and a fellow at the Institute on the Environment.
