Background & Expertise
Mike Kenyanya first connected deeply with the Mission of the University as a student leader at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he studied management information systems and served as student body president. Shortly before graduating, he was elected by the Minnesota Legislature to the University’s Board of Regents, where he served from 2019–25 while also working as a technology consultant at Accenture. His experiences in leadership and public service inspired him to pursue law, and he is now a JD candidate at the University of Wisconsin Law School.
