Background & Expertise

Prabhjot (Prabu) Singh (she/her) is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute on the Environment. Her research interests include science communication, human‑centered research, decision science and the integration of social and natural sciences to support environmental sustainability. At IonE, she works on projects that assess the usability and understandability of decision‑support tools and conducts research to strengthen the design, visualization and communication of complex data products. 

Prior to joining IonE, Singh was at Ohio State University where she completed an MS and a PhD in environmental science studying agricultural soil health, farmer decision making, cognitive maps and carbon farming stakeholder networks. In her free time, Singh enjoys spending time with her loved ones, painting, crocheting, knitting, hiking, running, cooking, gardening, playing volleyball, listening to music and being outside!
