Evan Roberts is an assistant professor in the History of Medicine and Population Studies programs at the University of Minnesota, and leads the Minnesota Zoning Atlas project. Roberts is a demographer and economic historian who has published broadly on topics including residential segregation, social influences on health and social science data construction. As well as his work on zoning, Roberts is writing a book about veteran suicide, and studying the impact on life expectancy of randomized redistribution of farmland in New Zealand. Originally from New Zealand, he has mostly lived in Minnesota since 2000.
